Russell Communications named Best Small Business at EntreConf Awards 2023

September was an exciting month for Russell Communications as we were thrilled to be named Best Small Business at the inaugural EntreConf Awards. Voted for a panel of esteemed judges, these awards celebrate entrepreneurship in the South West.

The judges commented that Russell communications had made a “big impact in a short time” and said the financial services specialist had benefited from its enduring reputation in the sector. “Destined for much success,” the judges added.

Picking up the award at the glittering ceremony held in Bristol Museum & Art Gallery on 28 September, Russell Communications founder Pippa Russell said: “I am so delighted to accept this award for Best Small Business, it’s wonderful to be recognised for our hard work since the business launched just two short years ago. The competition was fierce in this category so I would like to thank the judges and congratulate the other finalists. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!”

Speaking to EntreConf after the company’s win, Pippa attributed Russell Communications’ success to being able to carve our its own niche. The firm fills a gap in the market with its specialist focus on technology-led platforms within financial services, and Pippa has a deep understanding of the space. As well as being resourceful and driven, she is also happy and fulfilled at work, and this has been crucial to Russell Communications’ growth and development. “Really enjoy what you do, that will be key to being a success,” Pippa added.
